Dr Belinda completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney in 2012. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has completed a Diploma in Child Health in 2014. She also has a special interest in women’s health, sexual health and contraception. She holds a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health from Sexual Health Alliance Australia, and has previously worked for Family Planning NSW.
She is passionate about general practice, and enjoys caring for people of all ages and backgrounds. She has been providing gender affirming care for adults 18+ since 2022 and is a member of AusPATH.
Interests:
Dr Poon is currently on maternity leave, commencing second half of 2025.
