Kaleido offers inclusive sexual health support catering for the diverse needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
The Kaleido Approach
Kaleido provides comprehensive, LGBTQ+ inclusive sexual health services designed to address the diverse needs of the community, including people within our community who have historically faced barriers in accessing appropriate care.
We integrate skilled and knowledgeable GPs, peers with lived experience, experienced nurses, and digital tools to create a safe, affirming, and accessible healthcare experience.
Our services are designed to provide routine screening, prevention, treatment, and education in a culturally competent and stigma-free environment.
Our Services
We offer a range of sexual health services, including:
Primary Care Sexual Health Service, GP-led general sexual health services for everybody, routine screening, treatment, and specialist referrals if required.
Cervical Screening & Sexual Health Service, STI screening and cervical cancer screening for anyone with a cervix in a gender-affirming space.
PrEP & PEP Service, Easy access to HIV prevention medication prescriptions for eligible individuals.
Peer Worker Consultations, Sexual health education, support, and navigation of services.
Future Services
In the future, we hope to partner with other services to provide an in-reach Specialist Sexual Health Physician Clinic, for complex treatment commencements and condition management – conveniently located at Kaleido.
Innovation & Better Targeted Care
Kaleido is committed to enhancing LGBTQ+ sexual health care and research through digital health innovations.
We are currently developing a confidential digital sexual health questionnaire as an option for clients who prefer to document their sexual health history before they see our friendly doctors, nurses, and peers. This is not mandatory, but it helps us to tailor our support and care to your needs, inform care decisions, and, if you consent, contribute to public health research.
