Biography:

Dr. Emily Symes is a Staff Specialist in Drug Health at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, providing care in Clinical Toxicology and Addiction Medicine. She is also a Fellow at the NSW Poisons Information Centre and a Specialist Emergency Physician at Canterbury Hospital. Emily is currently completing a PhD at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC), UNSW, where her research focuses on the epidemiology of mental health and substance use among trans and gender-diverse people.
