Please note: Dr Tom does not provide skin checks (although he is happy to review specific lesions of concern)
Dr Tom graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2016. After completing his internship in Tasmania, he moved to the Northern Territory to gain more experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healthcare. He spent most of his time at the Royal Darwin Hospital, working mostly in trauma and bone surgery, but he also spent 6 months living and working in a remote town in North East Arnhem Land. He moved to Sydney in 2021 with the hopes of finally being able to see his favourite popstars perform live; sadly, he got a 4 month lockdown instead.
Dr Tom began his GP training in 2022, and obtained fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2024. He has spent most of his time as a GP working in an Aboriginal Medical Service in South West Sydney. He joined Kaleido Health Centre in 2025 with the goal of reducing barriers to access for gender affirming health care, and providing safe and inclusive healthcare for all LGBTQIA+ people.
Dr Tom is happy to see anyone, but he really shines when it comes to chronic disease management, mental health care, neurodiversity, and general routine paediatric care. He looks forward to working with you to achieve your health goals.
Outside of work, Dr Tom enjoys idolising female pop stars and burning all his energy at the gym. He likes to think he can dance, and is a regular attendee at DUTI. He is hoping to get into sewing and mixing music, and is very happy to receive advice/recommendations!
